Isaiah Tells of “Last Days”

“Perhaps it is during this time of jubilant rededication that Isaiah shares with excitement the visions he has received about the coming of the Messiah and the ultimate triumph of good over evil.  Using vivid and powerful imagery, Isaiah describes the time when the wicked will be punished and the righteous blessed forever.”

Isaiah Prophesies About a Savior

“God is ready to defend Judah despite her wickedness, and tells Ahaz to request a sign.  The sign evidently has nothing to do with the pending battle, but rather with the coming Messiah, or Savior.  At first it appears that Isaiah is merely telling of impending political and military events.  Laced throughout, however, are messianic prophecies.”
