“In all of Scripture, Isaiah’s prophecies concerning Israel’s restoration and the coming of the Messiah may be the most marvelous, wonderful, comforting, inspiring, optimistic, and encouraging words ever read by a believer. It continues to be a solemn warning to those who would persist in unrighteousness, but it is a refreshing message of hope to all sinners willing to acknowledge their guilt and lead repentant lives in service to God.

Spiritual Renewal Under Manasseh
“As a result of his wicked leadership, Manasseh is taken captive by the army of a now-eclipsing Assyrian empire. There in exile, Manasseh is conscience-stricken and sincerely repents. Consequently, God reestablishes Manasseh on the throne in Judah, and Manasseh does what he can to abolish the very idolatry he introduced.”
