Isaiah’s Prophecies About Restoration and the Messiah
“Isaiah is one of the many prophets who have spoken out against Judah’s sins and predicted captivity by foreign nations. Already the northern tribes have been taken away. If there was any cause for optimism during the reign of Hezekiah, it has now been lost amid the paganism which Manasseh has fostered. Therefore Isaiah once again takes to the streets to warn against idolatry, sorcery, and even astrology.”
