Joseph the Egyptian Ruler
“The story of Joseph’s rise from being an imprisoned slave to being a ruler second only to Egypt’s Pharaoh himself is wonderfully captivating. Equally fascinating is the account of how Joseph ultimately brings his father and brothers to live in Egypt, a move which Joseph sees as the clear culmination of a long series of events brought about by God’s providence.”

It is fun to catch the synopsis here, as we are on nearly the same reading schedule. 🙂
Are you reading chronologically?? A couple friends of mine are reading as well but they’re doing an Old Testament, New Testament and Psalm a day plan I think. So right now they’re with me, but it will certainly change the farther we dive into the Word. But what a blessing, isn’t it? Oh, to absorb God’s inspired writing!! Awesome.
Thanks, by the way, for stopping by each day…I enjoy seeing your smiling face and it’s a blessing to know someone’s out there with me!! 🙂
The plan that I am doing has Old Testament, New Testament, and sometimes a Psalm. It is great that we are in similar spots right now though! Even when we aren’t in the same spot, it will be a great way to review and remember! 🙂
That sounds like a pretty common and popular way to read through… I’ve never tried that plan, I’ve only been able to get through the Bible fully chronologically… it’s a unique and interesting way to read it, especially when some of the Psalms are placed at the time David is actually running from Saul.
Mmmmmm….love God’s Word! 🙂
